Nine

Sweet baby is 9 months old today!

He has 2 teeth (as you can see below)

He's crawling (ever so slow still - thank goodness!)

And is just the most precious,happy baby boy!

In case you were wondering - this is watered down prune juice, not coffee or coke!

Mama said there'd be days like this....

Some days life can be a lot of work.

I woke up to see that Savannah had gnawed a bare spot in her fur and was bleeding. So off to the vet we go to rack up a $128 bill. They had to shave part of her back to help the spot heal. They also gave her a steroid shot (my sister in law tells me that this will make Savannah have to go to the bathroom about every hour - great!)

Pathetic!! Poor thing!

After Isaiah's nap this afternoon, we ran to the library and to the dollar store. We didn't get to far into the store before Isaiah starts gaging and throws up EVERYWHERE! (If you happen to be in the Dollar Tree in Bellevue, look out for isle #4 - what a mess!) All I could do was just walk out with puke all over us both.

Yucky!! Straight to the wash!

These two were doing a little better this aftenoon :)

On a side note - Daniel was trying to give me a little break when he got home from work today and put Isaiah in the hiking backpack while he mowed the lawn - Isaiah seemed to be enjoying himself!

I guess the day didn't end so badly after all.

Back in the day

Since time travel just isn't possible - this website has to be the next best thing. It's called yearbookyourself.com and you upload your pic into old yearbook photos. Daniel and I were laughing so hard doing this.

On a sunday afternoon

Uncle Steve thought Isaiah might like to have his first taste of corn on the cob yesterday. I think it was a hit! By the way it's mommy's favorite too! I try to only eat one at a time, but whatever works.

Just the two of us

It has come to my attention that there are some folks who are faithfully checking my blog - perhaps even daily. That's is so great, but I should apologize for the lack of postings lately. We've just been busy - and we're not THAT interesting!

Daniel went back to school this week (in service) so Isaiah and I are easing into being just the two of us during that day. Daniel thinks Isaiah's becoming quite the Mama's boy (which I kinda agree with). Here's a sweet pic Daniel took after Isaiah woke up from a nap the other day.

I'm a big kid now!

Watch our little man become so independent! He can hold the spoon and feed himself!

On a sad note, Daniel's sister's dog Moses had to be put to sleep this week - check out her blog (listed in my side bar ---> "living as the beloved" to read about Mo.) Savannah is sad to have lost a brother :(
