$12 well spent

Last night Daniel and I had the pleasure of seeing the Need to Breathe show at exit/in. We had a fantastic time and were truly impressed by these performers. We may have actually enjoyed the opening act, Andy Davis better than NTB. Either way - be sure to check them both out if you have a chance!
Need to Breathe - the lead singer was definately channeling Kid Rock last night - atleast in appearance. Andy Davis - great performer - I think most of the ladies (and maybe half the guys) thought he was pretty dreamy!
My own little rock star - adjusting those knobs to make sure the sound is just right!

So, I fell off my bike......

Our friends Lee and Kristina were so nice to give us their old mountain bikes a couple of weeks ago because they bought new ones. We've had a great time getting out and riding around on them. I think it has easily been 7 years or more since I've actually ridden a bike. It's a lot of fun - unless you fall off. Riding a bike in the dark isn't a good idea. I found this out friday night when I was riding through a parking lot and hit a speed bump. I seriously ate the pavement and my bike chain came off so I had to walk the rest of the way home, about 2 miles. This picture does not do my injuries justice - I have a gash in my hand, skinned my knee, ripped up my elbow, not to mention the aches and pains the next morning. Anyway.....it could have been much worse - I'm thankful I didn't knock out my teeth or break my arm. From now on I ride during the day. On a happier note - Isaiah and I had lunch with his half brother Malachi this week. Malachi was adopted by a great couple here in town and we all agree the boys should grow up knowing each other as family. Sweet Malachi was holding Isaiah's hand on the park bench.

It's Official!!

Yesterday we went to court and our adoption was finialized! We are incredibly blessed to have Isaiah in our lives- the whole process of how this adoption happened still blows our minds at times! All that being said - Isaiah is officially a "Moore"!
We are greatful for the love and support our friends and family have given us, including Steven and Mary Beth Chapman, who have founded an oganization to assist families wanting to adopt (http://www.shaohannahshope.org/). In honor of all they do for orphans around the world and (in their own community), we included Steven's song "When love takes you in" on the slideshow below. We would strongly encourage any of you that would feel inclined, to donate to this ministry - it's such a worth while cause.
