28

I turned 28 this weekend and we decided to go to Atlanta to celebrate. I'd never been before so we thought it might be fun to go and explore! After a long car ride with multiple stops because of my husbands' tiny bladder, we arrived in time for dinner friday night.

A number of streets were still blocked off because of the tornado that had come through the area the weekend before.

Daniel and I have lot of great stories of trips we've taken together and how they don't go well - this trip has a few stories of it's own. Ask Daniel about parking in Atlanta and what it means when they slap a big orange sticker on your window....
Here's a picture of us before we went to dinner friday night. Daniel looks like he's having a great time....

After dinner we decided to go ahead and get some birthday dessert To-Go from the hotel resturaunt.
The next day we went on over to visit the coke museum which we both thought was a lot of fun.

We got to sample 60 different coke drinks from around the world - some of which we thought we pretty bad! We both agreed that coca-cola classic is darn good stuff - diet coke just can't compare!

Overall it was a good trip and a good birthday - if you are in Atlanta anytime soon - we recommend the coca-cola museum and a little place where we had breakfast Easter morning called The Pleasent Peasant (http://www.peasantatl.com/ ) YUMMY!

Here's to 2008 at 28!
